Description: Clos La Chance has been in Hayes Valley, Central Coast since the family of Frank Hayes purchased the property in 1922, surrounding the Clos la Chance estate. The winery has change hands but same family, now Bill and Brenda Murphy oversea the estate, Striving to maintain a healthy environment for themselves, employees, and the surrounding ecosystem, the Murphy family has chosen to be certified sustainable. The wine opens with fresh herbs and evergreen aromas. The palate displays hints of toasted oak, vibrant acidity, and black raspberries upfront. Layers of baking spices, cocoa, and a hint of dark bitters toward the finish.
