History: Billecart-Salmon, owned by the Billecart family since 1870 is one of few mid-size Champagne houses still family owned and operated. 7th generation brothers, Francois and Antoine currently operate the house. Francois and Antoine own 15 hectares of vineyards in Mareuil-Sur-Ay (1er Cru) and Ay (Grand Cru). The Brut Rose was first accomplished in 1862 and the style has not changed, even when rose’ went out of fashion. Located in the Valle de la Marne in the village of Mareuil-Sur-Ay where Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier is renowned for their quality.

General Description: Delicate soft pink rose color with aromas of citrus, red fruit, mineral clay, and hibiscus. Bright acidity but restrained by the sheer elegance of the refined mousse and dancing bubbles.
