Domaine Paul Autard is one of most respected and renowned Chateauneuf-du-Pape producers in the Rhone region of southern France. This wine, Cotes du Rhone, is a baby version of his powerhouse Chateauneuf, and its grapes are harvested from vineyards located at the border of the Chateauneuf appellation in Courthezon. Deeply colored and very aromatic, with concentrated, fresh and pure ripe, black fruit, nuanced by violet and spice notes, and a rich texture. Since 2004, Jean-Paul has been working in his new state-of-the-art winery, which allows him greatly enhanced control over all phases of winemaking, and a concomitant increase in quality. Decant a couple of hours before drink.
