The Mediterranean climate, marked by mistral, and the soil nature are favorable to rich and heavy wine growing in the Cote du Rhone region of south France. Domaine le Garrigon has been cultivating vines organically since 1997. Fleshy and round, this opens nicely in the glass, delivering plum, black cherry, lavender and briar flavors that stay lively on the finish. “Domaine le Garrigon was our clear favorite, with its fresh red fruit and mineral flavors.
