Finger Lakes Dry Riesling 2014 Ravines Wine Cellars

Ravines Wine Cellars, located in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, is the dream and passion of Morten & Lisa Hallgren, a winemaker from Provence, France, and his Chef/Foodie wife. Together they have created a small, distinctive winery crafting elegant and food friendly wines using Old World winemaking traditions with New World innovation. This Riesling exhibits aromas of slate, flint and lemon zest. The palate is round (phat) upfront with crisp acidity toward the finish. Dry, mineral stone and flint on the mid-palate with a hint of dried pineapple toward the finish.
