Description: Sheldrake Point Winery produces distinctive estate wines that showcase the quality of its cool climate Finger Lakes vineyards overlooking Cayuga Lake. This rose is crisp and lively with flavors of fresh red berries, white peach, and faint hints of fresh-cut grass and earthy mushroom. A classic, well-balanced and refreshing style with good dry finish. It is made of 100% Cabernet Franc that was hand-harvested in late October when it is cool. 0.5% of Cabernet Franc ice wine was added at the end to add softness and complexity.

Food pairing: very versatile from aperitif, charcuterie, pizza, to BBQ, pork, pasta with light sauce.
