Pale yellow with a golden hue, Passerina is a traditional grape found in the hilly Offida region, located straight across from Rome near Adriatic Sea in southern Marche. The light, pleasing fruit nose of acacia, fig and honey and refreshing acidic flavor are characteristic of the grape. It’s a great “next step” for someone who likes to go beyond from typical Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio. Easy drinking and smooth palate, this organic value wine is perfect for house wine or party wine.
