Relatively unknown in public, wines from Lacrima grapes, an indigenous grape of the Marche region, are known in the wine professionals for their deep fruity character and enticing aroma of rose petals. Black ruby in the glass, this wine is packed with rich, concentrated flavors of ripe plum and black fruits. Refreshing acidity counterbalances the rich flavors and silky but persisting tannins, making the wine great not only for charcuteries, but also for a wide rage of meals. Lucchetti family, specializing in Lacrima grapes since the 80’s, is one of only few and the most important Lacrima producers in the region.
