Product Description

Dry, mineral, medium-body white.
Grape: Muscadet (Melon de Bourogne).
Region: France> Loire> Muscadet Sevre et Maine.
Notes: Old vines. Long aging.

When someone says “Muscadet,” we think the refreshing, light white wine from Loire Valley that is typically quaffed with shellfish and seafood. Veronique Gunther-Chereau makes her wine much more seriously. The production is defined by parcels of 60 years old vines. She uses only natural yeast, ages the wine more than 50 months on the lees. Smooth and elegant yet very complex and structured, with intense minerality and hints of white flowers and white fruits. Superior texture. Aging potential of impressive 15 years.

Food Pairing: Not only seafood and shellfish, but also white meats, fish with rich butter sauce, and aged cheese.
