Notes: Hand harvested and sorted, aged 14 months in French and American Oak, 15% new.

Description: 2011 began with a mild winter and spring across Napa Valley. Summer was warm and as harvest approached the temperatures rose. Ripened fully and evenly, allowing sugars and acids to develop in balance. This is a bigger, riper wine than the 2012. The 2011 is a great precusor to the 2012 vintage. More approachable today (2015) but may not age as gracefully as the 2012 vintage.
