Description: Arietta is an super, ultra-premium Napa Valley winery specializing in limited production Bordeaux-style blends. Family-owned by famous auctioneer and wine specialist Fritz Hatton and his wife Caren. The history of Arietta is just short of amazing, starting with a partnership with winemaker John Kongsgaard and consulting viticulturist David Abreu. The goal of working with these two Napa Valley giants were to help Fritz find the perfect place to grow vines that would lend its terroir and character to produce great wines.
The 2010 Quartet is believed to be Fritz's best vintage since its inception. A Bordeaux varietal blend with the core of the fruit from Coombsville.
Excellent wine of finesse and balance that has a seamless feel and taste. Aromas are intoxicating and the wines is powerful but yet restrained. Approachable upon release but built to gracefully age for ten years or more.
