Grapes: 80% Negroamaro, 20% Primitivo
Region: Italy> Puglia
Notes: Appassimento method, Intensely Fruity.
Slightly sweet, smooth, Juicy, mouthful of fruity flavors of cherry, black plum, licorice, dry fig and spices. Very dark purple red in color. Slightly hot, with alcohol content of 14.5%. Soft tannins. The Puglia region’s indigenous varietals, Negroamaro and Primitivo (believed to be the origin of Zinfandel) are used, with 20% of going through the Passito method, in which grapes are hung on vines to raisin.
