Description: Amongst the flood of overly fruity style of the modern Ribera del Duero, this wine shines with elegance and classicism. The family owns 135-hectare vineyards in Pedrosa de Duero, with over 25 years old Tinto Fino vines that grow on privileged soils of chalky-clay at an altitude of 800m above sea level with an Atlantic influence. Meaty, sumptuous and full of character with oak-spiced aromas of cherry and cassis, smoky pipe tobacco and licorice accents. In the mouth, it is broad, powerful, and voluminous. Finishes sweet, smoky, and long with velvety tannins. A racy wine with elegance.
Food pairing:Red Meats, Lamb, Charcuterie, Hard Cheese.
