Voted No. 1 Sancerre by NY Times, its wine critic Eric Asimov states; It has a juicy pungency to it that suggested a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, but it also had a mineral quality as well as a depth and texture that made it distinctively Sancerre. Yes, this wine would be great at a picnic or by the pitcher in the best tradition of a Paris wine bar, but it’s also a thought-provoking wine, and it was our best value.
Served at many four-star restaurants such as Le Bernadin and Jean George.
