Smooth, lightly fruity, light-body white.

Region: Central Italy> Abruzzo> Chieti.
Notes: No oak- stainless steel tank.
Made entirely by a brother and sister team, who do everything themselves from farming to bottling, the Pecorino from Tenuta I Fauri is the flagship wine of the estate. It is vinified and aged entirely in stainless steel, and benefits from extended lees contact giving it a mineral and complex expression of not only the soils but also the salinity from the nearby Adriatic Sea. The moderately fruity, refreshing, lightweight white wine is a perfect companion for seafood, cheese, and light meals. The winery is located in the heart of the province of Chieti, amid the hills that drop gently down from Majella mountains to the sea. Their vineyards are currently being converted to sustainable farming.
