This light, crisp Prosecco has a brilliant straw yellow color with clean and persistent bubbles and fruity, refreshing citrus notes. Prosecco is a sparkling wine from Italy. The grape is grown mainly in the Veneto region of Italy in the hills north of Treviso. In Italy, Prosecco is enjoyed as a wine for every occasion. Outside Italy, it is most often drunk as an aperitif, much like Champagne. Easy drinking at a very affordable price. Unlike champagne, Prosecco does not ferment in the bottle and grows stale with time; it should be drunk as young as possible. It was the original main ingredient in a Bellini and in the Spritz cocktails, and it can also replace Champagne in other cocktails such as the Mimosa.
