The best wine produced by Sartarelli, renowned Verdicchio winemaker, comes from single vineyard “Balciana”. The vines are old (33 years old) and make particularly terroir-driven wines. During the harvest, extreme care is necessary so as not to split the grapes, and harvesting takes place multiple times during the season taking only the fruit that is at its optimum ripeness. Rich, ripe, complex, with tropical fruits, white flower, almond, spice and honey, balancing with good mineral and lively acidity. 9 months aging with additional 12 months in the bottle before release.
