Located to the east of Burgundy, Jura is an isolated mountainous region, in which certain traditional wine styles and grapes persist. This Arbois Blanc typifies the unique flavors of the Jura region: slightly oxidative, yet refreshingly bright. It’s a kind of wine that wine geeks would fall in love with. A blend of Savagnin and Chardonnay, which are fermented and aged separately, as the Savagnin develops a veil of flor during 3 years in barrels. “Fully ripe grapes, brilliantly judged use of wood, and delicate use, too, of controlled oxidation to create what people call ‘une petite inflection noisette’ (a little hazelnut nose) are all hallmarks of the domaine’s wines, the consistency of which is impressive for such a cool-climate vineyard region”, a notable French critic comments.

Food Pairing: Aperitif, Comte cheese, white meats, game
