Solonio’s vineyards are located in Lanuvio, about 30 kilometers south of Rome. They are an integral part of a protected nature area in the Lazio Region. At the time of Imperial Rome, the Lanuvino area produced wines that graced celebrated banquets held by Roman patricians. In this blessed region, the dry, mild Mediterranean climate and the volcanic soil offer an ideal condition for viticulture.
Rich gold color with a slight green tint, inviting notes of kiwi and pineapple, but not overly aromatic. Dry, minerally palate is broad and satisfying. If you are a fan of Gewurtztraminer, Muscat or other aromatic wines, this might well be one of your favorite bottles
Food Pairing: chicken, seafood, vegetable, soft cheese.
