The winery’s foundation documents makes them the oldest company in France dating back to 1268. Clerget partners with many domains, controls the vineyard development with a team of top oenologist. The Cotes du Rhone “Pont du Rhone” is sourced from one of the oldest vineyard sites in the Rhone Valley. This wine exhibits aromas of pomegranate and violets. On the palate the wine exhibits bright acidity that expresses raspberry and pomegranate character upfront and red apple skin and oak on the finish. Good, solid gripping tannins.
