The Demilano family has farmed grapes and produced wines with its own grapes in the commune of Barolo since the late 1800’s. They are the largest landholder of the Cannubi vineyards, the most prestigious Barolo vineyards of all. Comprised of five single vineyards, the Lecinquevigne is an intriguingly complex wine. Deep ruby-red color with slight orange hue. Intense aromas of vanilla, rose, and clove. Dry, silky tannins throughout with pungent notes of violets, mushroom, and cigar-box character wrapped in a warm, elegant texture.
