An incredible traditional estate started by jean Vesino and now handled by his son, Jean-Paul. There are only older vines spread out over 40 different parcels, which are vinified in stainless steel tanks and aged in foudres for 2 yrs. He sells a lot of his production to negociants to ensure only the best juice is bottled under the estate’s name. Engaging nose of dark cherry fruit. Lovely ripeness, balance and length. Jean-Paul Versino makes wines as elegant and rich as Chateauneuf can get. A pleasure now but will age very well.
