Description: Domaine de la Perruche is located in the region of Saumur in the Loire Valley. The Beaujeau family who owns the estate has been winemakers in the Loire since the 14th century and produces Saumur wines of profound character. This wine was made from Chenin Blanc grapes from a single vineyard, Les Rotissants. It exhibits a sharp mineral palate and velvety texture as you would expect for good Saumur whites. Atypical is that the lees-contact was restricted to a minimum to showcase the lively Chenin character. This wine develops after opening and will keep entertaining you for more than a week! All the wines are produced under sustainable farming techniques.
