Product Description
Sparkling, fruity, light/medium-body wine
Grape: Chardonnay 70%, Chenin Blanc 20%, Pinot Noir 10%.
Region: France> Languedoc> Limoux.
Notes: Methode Champenois.
Refreshing crispness and aromas of strawberry, flora and red currant. Deliciously creamy texture on the palate with nice expressions of orange, shortbread, and fresh reasberry. Limoux is a small and extremely varied wine region within the Languedoc region of South France unable to make much of an impact globally, or even within France, but it should be of interest to anyone seeking a combination of French finesse and good value. The Crémant de Limoux appellation, a refined sparkling wine dependent on Chardonnay, with Chenin Blanc and a little Pinot Noir, was created in 1990 to cater to more international tastes.
Food pairing: aperitif, and great with almost any food.
