Latium 2012 Soave 'Campo le Calle'

Notes: Passito (drying grapes) for 1 month. Skin contact. Aged on lees. Acidity: Med+.

This delicious, joyous Soave is special: the grapes were naturally dried after harvest for a month in the traditional Passito method to concentrate flavors. Perfumed, honeyed aromatics of white flower and ripe peach waft from the glass. On the palate it has a slight hint of sweetness that evaporates toward the mid-palate. Medium-bodied wine with hints of teriyaki, orange on the focused minerality. Good texture and bright acidity. A deep finish.
