Dry fruits, honey, mineral, and earthy notes with a touch of petroleum, this off-dry (slightly sweet) wine exhibits superb texture and depth. Always with a passion for wine, Ludovic Chanson left his job in pharmaceutical research in 2007 and went to work for the renown Vouvray producer Vincent Carême, In the following year he took over a 6.5 ha property in Montlouis, a small appellation that sits on the left bank of the Loire River opposite Vouvray, just east of the city of Tours. It had been organically farmed since 2006. The property is primarily planted to Chenin Blanc. Average age of the vines used to bottle this wine is 45 years. Food
