Description: This old-world family operation stays true to traditional hand harvesting and sorting. Oak ageing for approximately 16 months.

The wines are rather dark while young.Complex bouquet of leather, tobacco, spice and mint. In the mouth the first impression is one of suppleness and richness. Full-bodied with tight gripping tannins. Finesse and power all in one. This is a wine that can be approachable today (2014) but will gradually soften to become the elegant, rarified wine of 2025. This is a great vintage and one of the best bottlings of Boyd-Cantenac in many years.
