The Claret is styled after great Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon blends. The 2009 vintage boasts complex characteristics with balance and structure. The nose is floral with ripe raspberry, licorice, black pepper, and tea notes. On the palate this wine is full and rich, with bright notes of rosemary, thyme, and blackberry with spice notes of cocoa and coffee. With a generous mid palate and an evolved and lingering finish with silky tannins, this powerful and refined wine is drinking beautifully now, and will age gracefully for the next 10 plus years.
Food Pairings: Dijon and Truffle Crusted Rack of Lamb with Wild Mushrooms, etc
