Niagara Peninsula Riesling 2014 Henry of Pelham

Product Description

Aromatic, minerally, dry, light-body white.

Grape: Riesling.
Region: Canada> Ontario> VQA Niagara Peninsula> Short Hills Bench.
Notes: Stainless Steel Tank, no oak. Acid: High.

A fresh and delicate, crisp and vibrant, lively and well-balanced wine with flavors of apple, citrus and mineral turpentine. This estate-grown wine comes from vineyards that were shovel planted by the Speck brothers in 1984 when the father, along with 3 brothers, tore out the Concord and Niagara grapes at their own expense against the voices of local people who thought they were crazy.

Dry with vibrant acidity and mineral- stone. Appealing when young, the Reserve Riesling will develop secondary characteristics and continue to improve with cellaring.

Food Pairing: Chicken, vegetable, charcuterie, Asian food, soft cheeses
