Aleatico is a red grape that has been vinified as a white wine. Andrea Occipinti is the first winemaker to do this. Some think it is a variation of the Muscat family because of its flowery Muscat characteristics. The nose has floral notes accented by lychee and spice. On the palate there is melon, apricot and citrus. The finish is bright, mineraly and dry.

Food pairing: meaty fish, Italian cheeses, roasted white meats, pasta with oil and herbs or a cream sauce.
