Description: Juan Vidal, winemaker and co-owner has taken this knowledge of Burgundy and applied it to his wines of Priorat. Hand-harvesting his grapes in single village selections.

The village of Escaladei, in the heart of Priorat, is the most prominent in the region, home to the preeminnent, broad, and robust wines of the entire DOc.

Garnet in color with aromas of baking spices, red currants, and saddle soap. The palate reveals sweet gripping tannins and a touch of oak. Layers of fruit and mineral intermingle with each other through the length of the palate. This is followed hints of black fig, lead pencil and a long savory finish.
