Steep terraced vineyards of Quinta do Noval are among the most photographed and impressive vineyards in the whole port region. The Ruby Black is a young port made from estate grapes in their classic Portuguese style, fruity with balanced sweetness. One of the major historic port houses since 1715. With less than 300 cases made the ungrafted Quinta Nacional the most sought after port in the world. They have been innovating and pioneering port styles that most houses take note and follow.

General Description: Sweet and supple with notes of dates, figs, and blackberry fruit. Fine perfumed character with soft tannins and medium-body. This style of port is restrained and not overly sweet.
