Description: Chateau Gruaud Larose has been described as one of the better 2nd Growth of the official classification of Cru Haut-Medoc Bordeaux. Sarget follows with a more approachable wine when consumed young. Aromas of earthy mushrooms, leather, and evergreen berries. Medium to full-bodied wine with soft velvety tannins that glide across the palate after decanting. Licorice stick, bell pepper, and black cherry essence upfront with hints of aromatic bitters and black plum toward the finish. Great alcohol and acid balance.
