Torbreck 2012 'Woodcutter's" Sauvignon Blanc Barossa Valley

Product Description

Fruity, minerally, light-body white.

Grape: Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc 6%.
Region: New Zealand> Marlborough.
Notes: Organic. Natural yeast. Partially neutral oak aging. Acid: Med+.

This is a wine we like you to try if you are a fan of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Light green gold in color, Seresin reveals the depth and power of the Marlborough region. “Broad, concentrated, ripe and dry, with a tactile dusty texture to the pineappley fruit. Finishes chewy, savory and very persistent, with uncompromising dryness. Serious stuff," a known critic notes. The wine was naturally fermented using wild yeast for added complexity and texture while retaining the signature style of lean, green fruit character with keen mineral components. Bright, persisting acidity works well with wide range of food especially with seafood or white meats with a light sauce.

Food Pairing: Sashimi, fresh shellfish, chicken, seafood.
