Description: The history of the Vietti winery traces its roots back to the 19th Century. The family made a name for Vietti's single-vineyard Barolo and Barbera. They also put the native Piedmont varietal Arneis on the wine map. Luca joined the family business as winemaker after working at California's luminaries such as Simi Winery, Opus One and Long Vineyards, and Bordeaux's Mouton- Rothschild. His innovative winemaking utilizes a unique combination of modern and traditional practices.

Lazzarito vineyard is one of the most famous 'cru' vineyards from Serralunga. Deep garnet red color, Rich, round, and robust with firm tannins that are seemlessly integrated in the wine. Intensely aromatic with hints of figs, plums, and orange zest. This wine will continue to evolve and get better and better within the next 15 to 20 years.
