Located in Monterotondo, the heart of Gavi commune, Villa Sparina has put Gavi back on the map by drastically reducing yields, introducing French barrique, renovating the cellars and hiring a top oenologist. The result was a prestigious Tre Bicchieri and 90 points from critics. Golden straw in color, rich, ripe fruit flavors balance refreshingly with mouth-watering acidity and long minerally finish.
