At the foot of the majestic Mount Granier, near the Swiss border, nestle 7 ha of vineyards that the Bernard family owns since 1700. The father and daughter team grows vines on the east-facing slopes alongside cherry, almond and fig trees, benefitting from maximum sun and little rain. The soil on the limestone bedrock is predominantly chalky and pebbly, mixed with fossils. With the respect of traditions, the family strikes a balance in an environmental concern to protect the vineyard and the surrounding environment. This unusual white exhibits white flower, stone fruits, a hint of smokiness, good acidity, smooth texture, with clean, savory finish. Pairs well with aged hard or red-mold cheese, sausages, pork, chicken.
