Nested in the Maritime Alps near Genova at 6000 feet above sea level lies the A Maccia estate. The wine shows a delicate yet vibrant bouquet, with layers of citrus and tropical fruit with hints of herbs and anise due to the red calcareous soil. It is fresh, with outstanding concentration, power and refinement. Subtle but firm, with an impressive grip as well as a lovely long finish.
